Kashikesh Productions

Mixing and mastering

Mixing and mastering for independent releases, delivered to streaming and video specification.

We mix and master our own catalogue before every release, and we offer the same work on its own. Send a session you have recorded elsewhere, or take it as the last stage of a production we have made with you.

Masters come back ready for release rather than ready for another round of notes: 24 bit stereo WAV at both 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz, so the same record serves streaming and video without a second pass.

What this covers

Mixing

Balance, space and tone across the arrangement, working from your session or stems. We ask what the record is for before we start, because a song going to streaming and a song going under a film are mixed differently.

Mastering

Final level, tone and consistency, delivered to the specification the platforms actually want rather than to the loudest possible number.

An agreed number of revisions

Set before we start, so you know what you are buying. Open ended revisions sound generous until they start being rationed.

What it does not cover

Questions

Can you mix something you did not record?
Yes. That is most of this work. Send the session or consolidated stems and tell us what the record is for.
What do I get back?
24 bit stereo WAV at both 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz. The same master then serves streaming and video without us going back for a second version.
How many revisions do I get?
An agreed number, fixed before we start. We scope it honestly rather than promise unlimited rounds and then start counting them once the work is under way.
What does it cost?
It depends on the arrangement and the state of the session. A sparse acoustic record and a dense production are not the same job, so we do not publish a rate. Send us the song and we will come back with a number.
